Back at it

I took a bit of a break from geocaching since many of my geokids went back to the parent they spend the school year with and I have been spending my days with my grandcub. I decided this week that I needed to get out & cache no matter what!

I took g-cub (9months old) and we found 5 caches over 2 days! He prefers to fall asleep in the truck so I have to plan park-n-grabs but it's still fun.

I picked up a Travel Bug & a geocoin and released 2 new TBs so it added to my accomplishments for the week!

Tips on geocaching with a baby:

• DON'T give him the nano size (choking hazard)
• DO find big caches with big TBs or prizes (he loves to get new toys)
• DON'T plan for long outings (He lasted about 90 mins before he either got mad or fell asleep)
• DO have fun!
